Thank you for your kind and generous support of Michigan Samoyed Rescue, your response was amazing! All 4 dogs have been vetted & successfully treated for Heartworm. They return at the end of this month for followup to treatment. All four dogs have already been placed into their forever homes. Shiloh had a bit of a setback and stayed at the vet an extra week due to issues from his HW treatment. He is okay now with normal levels and eating again and doing well. It is good to see Shiloh’s tail wag finally!

Jack: He now lives in Frankenmuth on 20 acres with his new family. Jack is also the mascot for the family’s pool business and goes to work everyday in the office and gets all kinds of love & attention. Jack is their 3rd Samoyed.

Jill: Jill lives in Flint with a previous rescue family, she joins canine brother Sammie with this wonderful family that includes two college age girls. Jill is their 4th Samoyed.

Polar: He now lives in Dyer, IN with an active couple who is spoiling Polar like crazy. Polar is the only Sam in the household, but plays frequently with their parents golden retrievers. Polar is their 3rd Samoyed

Shiloh: Shiloh now lives in Wyandotte with a great woman and her teenage daughter who have been taking excellent care of him including cooking him chicken & rice so he will just eat something and spoiling him! This is their 1st Samoyed, but they have two other dogs to show Shiloh the ropes. His confidence is increasing every day as he is finding his place with this super family.

It’s not very often that we ask for help, but Michigan Samoyed Rescue could use a hand now.  This week we got a family of 4 Sammies into rescue.   This alone is quite a large vetting bill…. but in addition, all 4 of these loving dogs are heartworm positive.    Between the four of them, their vet bills exceed $2,200 for their care and heartworm treatments.

If you are able to help this family of beautiful Samoyeds  on their journey to be healthy and find their forever homes, your donations will be much appreciated.
